Intermediate Wilderness First-Aid (16 hours, 2 days)
This course will provide those who recreate, hike, camp in remote places, who work in remote places, or who live in remote areas where EMS system may not be able to respond to an emergency, This course is great for travelers in countries where medical care may be inadequate or difficult to obtain and where a communication barrier may exist. The participant will be given the educational tools to render care when care is not readily available. Basic first-aid knowledge is encouraged, but not mandatory. This is a great course summer camp counselors, church camp volunteers, Girl Scout or Boy Scout leaders, hiking or any outdoor adventure clubs.
